Mari's Baby almost here

Yes, were down to the final count down as it is only a few more weeks to go to the arrival of our new baby girl. We are growing more impatient and exited by the day. If you have kept track of the whole saga, you will know that I have had to receive chemo therapy during the last month or two and I have come to realise more and more how fearfully and wonderfully we are made. The chemo I am receiving is a special cocktail that doesn't cross the placenta and the baby (who is still nameless) seems to be totally oblivious of the medicine I am receiving. She is growing so big and strong, weighing almost 2.5 kg now and kicking harder and harder everyday. I was in Pretoria these last two weekends performing, but I will have to take a 3 week break, just till the baby is out as I am battling more and more to sing with her pressing on my diaphragm the way she is. Hopefully I will be back on the stage real soon and I hope to see you there; And when I do, I will be a Mom!
